DORSET — A 70-year-old Dorset woman was cited Thursday for a second driving under the influence of alcohol offense (DUI) after her car slid off Route 30.
According to Vermont State Police, Harriette S. Luxner is scheduled to appear in Bennington Superior Court Criminal Division on Jan. 24 to answer the charge. Police shaid she was convicted in 2005 of DUI.
No one was injured and Luxner’s vehicle was not damaged in the incident, which police said occurred near Lane Road at 7:30 p.m. Police said Luxner was unable to walk without aid and provided a breath sample showing her blood-alcohol content to be .213 percent.
