Medina Man Arrested For 12th DUI

MEDINA, Ohio — Authorities in Medina arrested a man on Thanksgiving Day for allegedly driving drunk. The arrest was the man’s 12th for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Medina Police Chief Patrick Berarducci tells Fox 8 News, on Thursday evening, Kelly Dorler, 45, of Medina, was arrested after police received a phone call from a citizen who said Dorler’s van was weaving from lane-to-lane on West Washington Street. The caller followed Dorler until police could arrive.

Once pulled over, police arrested Dorler for OVI, a third degree felony. A blood alcohol test showed his blood alcohol content was .174, more than two times the legal limit in Ohio.

According to Chief Berarducci, Dorler remains in the Medina County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance.
