Actress Jaime Pressly has been formerly charged with driving under the influence in a court in California. She was pulled over in Santa Monica on January 5 under suspicion of drunk driving, and it was discovered that she had a blood alcohol content of .20 which is way over the legal limit. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
According to MTV, Pressly is also in the midst of a divorce and is in a custody battle over her son with her ex-husband.
Pressly was previously on My Name Is Earl and won an Emmy for her performance as Joy. The show went off the air in 2009.
Because of these charges, Pressly’s performances this week in Las Vegas nightclubs were cancelled.
