What do you think of Jaime Pressly canceling her Las Vegas appearances?
Jaime Pressly backed out of two planned appearances in Las Vegas on Tuesday, the same day she was formally charged with drunken driving.
The actress, who was set to appear this Friday at Rain and Moon, nightclubs at the Palms Las Vegas, reneged on the deal, a hotel rep told E! News.
Earlier Tuesday, prosecutors in Santa Monica, Calif. charged Pressly, 33, with driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.
According to E!, she also faces misdemeanor counts – having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 or higher.
The “My Name is Earl” star was arrested Jan. 5 on suspicion of DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation.
Pressly’s legal issues are compounded by her personal problems, namely her crumbling marriage.
The 33-year-old Emmy winner filed for divorce on Jan. 21 from Simran Singh, her husband of less than two years.
UsMagazine.com previously reported Pressly is primarily concerned about her 3-year-old son, Dezi, whom she had with her ex-fiancé, Eric Cubiche.
“She doesn’t want to confuse him,” a source told the site. “Her baby is her top priority. She is a strong girl, though, and she will come out of this fine.”
