WALNUT CREEK — A woman was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and DUI after an early-morning crash Interstate 680, the California Highway Patrol said.
A collision was reported about 12:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes south of Rudgear Road, the CHP said. The female driver who caused the crash was found a short time later near the Livorna Road exit about a mile south.
The driver who was hit was taken to the hospital but information on those injuries were not immediately available. The offending driver, who has not been identified, was treated for minor injuries before being arrested.
