Sparks police announced today that they will be conducting a multi-agency DUI checkpoint on Saturday night.
The checkpoint is scheduled for December 18 at an undisclosed location, beginning at 5 p.m.
Participating in the checkpoint will be the Nevada Highway Patrol, the Reno Police Department, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, The Washoe County School District Police Department, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
The officers are being funded by a grant that was awarded to each agency by the Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety.
