Record-setting Sooner WR arrested for DUI

Big 12 Championship - Oklahoma v Nebraska

No, not that record-setting wide receiver.

First reported by the Daily Oklahoman, and later confirmed by Tulsa World, Oklahoma wide receiver Kenny Stills was arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence very early Saturday morning.  Additionally, starting safety Tony Jefferson was arrested — presumably during the same incident — for interference with the official process approximately 20 minutes after Stills’ arrest.

No further details were available.

An Oklahoma spokesperson told Tulsa World that both cases would be handled internally.

In 2010, Stills caught 61 passes for 786 yards and five touchdowns, the former two totals representing school records for a freshman.  Jefferson had two interceptions and two sacks as a freshman.
